Create Your First 3D Character Through This Beginner-Friendly Course!
Live 4-Week Course beginning 10/26/2026 @ 7PM CST
Learn how to use Blender for the first time to build low-poly 3D models perfect for indie games and vtubing in this live 2-week workshop (recording provided).
Four Live Workshops + Personalized Feedback
-
The first stage to any 3D project. Modeling is the process of building your character with different components called vertices (points) edges, and faces to construct its mesh.
-
Like removing the seams of a shirt, UVs are a way of “unwrapping” your 3D model to a flat depiction perfect for texturing in 2D applications or within Blender.
-
Painting! Adding all of those fun details to your unwrapped model and bringing them to life.
-
Building the digital skeleton inside your model for posing and animation. Place “bones” at critical spots which will attach to the mesh.
-
Where all of our hard work culminates into a finished image. Use lights and simple backdrops to create an inviting final portrait!
What You Will Learn
Creating low-poly models are a fantastic way to get introduced to the foundations of 3D modeling while also developing industry standard workflows suited for game development, animation, vtubing/virtual production and personal projects. Plus, you still walk away with something cool!
